Description:

Freie Universität Berlin invites applications for a PhD position in
Ibero-Romance Linguistics. 

Responsibilities:
Collaboration in teaching and research, especially in the organization of
research projects in the field of linguistics of Spanish and Portuguese; the
activity serves the scientific qualification, opportunity for doctoral studies
is given;

Requirements for employment:
Completed linguistic university studies (Master)

Desired:
 - Advanced knowledge in linguistic theory, with a focus on syntactic and/or
prosodic variation
 - Innovative doctoral project;
 - Extensive knowledge of empirical methods (especially design and
implementation of experiments, processing of files in Praat and/or ELAN);
- Advanced knowledge of Spanish linguistics and, ideally, Portuguese
linguistics
