Description:

The Centre for Advanced Research in Experimental and Applied Linguistics
(ARiEAL) is housed within the Department of Linguistics and Languages, Faculty
of Humanities at McMaster University. ARiEAL is a research centre that brings
together a community of researchers ranging from undergraduate trainees to
established scholars and enables the researchers to excel in their
problem-driven language science research in fundamental, experimental, and
applied linguistics.

Job Summary:
The Research Program Manager will be responsible for applying specialized
knowledge to initiate, implement, coordinate and manage large, complex
programs of research and evaluation within a unit, centre or a department.
They will be responsible for the overall quality of research programs, the
effectiveness of the research program outputs, ongoing research program
improvements, and for managing the program budget and forecasting projected
resource needs. They will collaborate with internal and external partners,
stakeholders and manages a variety of relationships. For a full list of job

Requirements:
 - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
 - Requires 4 years of relevant experience, including one year of supervisory
experience.

Assets:
 - Experience in language science research (cognitive science of language,
experimental or applied linguistics)
