Meeting Description: 

PALA (Processability Approaches to Language Acquisition) is an international
symposium held yearly at different universities around the world. The
symposium focuses on research and developments related to processability
approaches to language acquisition, particularly second language acquisition
and bilingualism/multilingualism research, empirical issues and practical
applications. This year, 2022, PALA 2022 will be co-hosted by International
Islamic University Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and Western Sydney University,
Australia. The conference will be conducted in hybrid mode (face-to-face at
International Islamic University Malaysia) and Zoom. Please refer to the

The International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), through the Child
Bilingualism unit of AbdulHamid AbuSulayman Kulliyyah Of Islamic Revealed
Knowledge And Human Sciences (AHAS KIRKHS) and the Department of English
Language and Literature, AHAS KIRKHS, with the School of Humanities and
Communication Arts, Western Sydney University, Australia, are hosting a
three-day symposium in hybrid format to present and discuss issues which focus
on research and development related to processability approaches to language
acquisition, including second language acquisition, bilingualism and
multilingualism, empirical issues in, and practical applications to language
