Meeting Description:

The forthcoming international conference ‘Computational and Corpus-based
Phraseology’ will take place in Malaga from 28 to 30 September 2022.

Conference topics:
The conference will focus on interdisciplinary approaches to phraseology and
will invite submissions on a wide range of topics, including, but not limited
to: corpus-based, psycholinguistic and cognitive approaches to the study of
phraseology, the computational treatment of multi-word expressions (including
latest natural language processing and deep learning approaches), and
practical applications in translation, lexicography and language learning,
teaching and assessment.

International Conference ‘Computational and Corpus-based Phraseology’

Malaga, 28-30 September 2022

The forthcoming international conference ‘Computational and Corpus-based
Phraseology’ (Europhras 2022) will take place in Malaga on 28, 29 and 30
September 2022.

Submissions and publication

The conference invites submissions reporting original unpublished work. 
Europhras 2022 invites three types of submissions: regular papers, short
papers and poster presentations.

- Submissions as regular papers should not exceed 15 pages including
references; their minimum length should be 12 pages. The accepted regular
papers will be published in a Springer LNAI volume which will be available at
the time of the conference. The regular papers should be written in English.
- Short papers should not exceed 7 pages excluding references; they should be
minimum 5 pages long. The accepted short papers will be published as
conference e-proceedings with ISBN, will be assigned a DOI and will be also
available at the time of the conference. Short papers can be in English or
Spanish.
- Poster presentations should not exceed 4 pages excluding references.
Accepted papers for poster presentations will be included in the conference
e-proceedings with ISBN along with the short papers and will be assigned a
DOI. Poster presentations can be in English or Spanish.

The conference will not consider the submission and evaluation of abstracts
only.

Each submission will be reviewed by at least three members of the Programme
Committee. Submission is electronic, using the Softconf START conference
management system. For further instructions please follow the submission
guidelines at the conference website
(http://lexytrad.es/europhras2022/submissions/). 

Authors of accepted papers will receive guidelines regarding how to produce
camera-ready versions of their papers for inclusion in the proceedings.

The Springer volume and the e-proceedings will be both available at the
conference. 

In addition, call for follow up papers will be announced after the conference
and the accepted papers reporting these new studies will be published as
peer-reviewed and/or indexed volume (in English). A collection of papers in
Spanish will be published in an indexed journal (2023).

20 May 2022- deadline for submitting papers
25 June 2022 - all authors notified of decisions
10 July 2022 - deadline for final (camera-ready) version of regular papers
10 August 2022 - deadline for final (camera-ready) version of short and poster
papers
28-30 September 2022 - conference takes place in Malaga
