Description:

We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio
Grande Valley’s diverse student body as an Assistant Professor of Spanish
Translation and Interpreting beginning in the 2023-2024 academic year. The
department seeks an energetic candidate to develop and teach translation and
interpreting courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, both in
traditional and online environments. The selected applicant will support the
development of the Translation & Interpreting programs, advise students and
serve on program and department committees as needed. The successful applicant
will be expected to develop a solid research agenda in any area within
Translation Studies.
