Meeting Description:

The biennial Congress of the German Society for Romance Studies (Deutscher
Romanistenverband) covers all areas of research across the field of Romance
studies, such as linguistics, philology, literary and cultural studies, as
well as language acquisition and foreign language teaching. The 38th issue of
the conference is dedicated to the overarching theme ''Presence and
Virtuality'' and will be held at the University of Leipzig (Germany) from
September 24th to September 27th, 2023.


Call for Papers:

Abstracts can be submitted to the organizers of the seven linguistic sections
of the Congress until Dezember 31st, 2022. The abstracts must not exceed 4,000
characters (including spaces and references). An overview of the sections,
which are dedicated to different fields of linguistic research, can be found
