Call for Papers:

The analyses of textual/discourse genres have contributed to the
research in applied linguistics both in terms of reflections and
theoretical-methodological advances of the analyses and in terms of
advances in didactic and formative proposals. Thus, this issue aims to
bring together articles related to textual/discourse genre as an
object of analysis, as well as a didactic-pedagogical teaching tool,
highlighting the relationship between both.

The Entrepalavras (EP) journal is open to receive original articles
and reviews from various theoretical-methodological perspectives that
should focus on the following questions:

(i) What contributions does the research present to the theoretical
and methodological advancement of genre theories and analysis
(refinement and expansion of concepts or categories of analysis) ?

(ii) What are some improvements in the methodologies of analysis
presented?

(iii) Which genres need further investigation and analysis? How does
the research contribute to their investigations?

(iv) What contributions to the teaching of textual/discourse genres in
basic and higher education have the analyses made possible?

Priority will be given to articles that contain up-to-date
bibliography and that critically review such bibliography.
