The 23rd Meeting of the International Circle of Korean Linguistics
Theme: Empirical approaches to Korean language and linguistics

The 23rd Biennial Meeting of the International Circle of Korean
Linguistics (ICKL 2023) is held at Palacký University Olomouc, Czech
Republic on 28-30 June 2023. This is the fifth international academic
fest focusing on Korean language and linguistics since the merger of
the Harvard-ISOKL (Harvard International Symposium on Korean
Linguistics) into the ICKL (International Circle of Korean
Linguistics), and also the first ICKL conference in Czech Republic.

ICKL 2023 is being planned as a fully in-person event (following
COVID-19 protocols dictated by the University).

The registration for non-presenting audiences is due on 15 May
(Monday). Please access the following link.

We are grateful that there is no registration fee, thanks to the
support from the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS-2023-C008) and from
the Department of Asian Studies at Palacký University Olomouc.

We offer special, block rates on hotel accommodations for conference
participants. Please indicate in the registration form (i) whether you
would like to book the accommodations and (ii) which hotel you would
like to stay. The booking guideline of each hotel will be sent in
mid-May. Please note that the room reservation follows the
first-come-first-served principle, with the deadline being the end of
May. After the deadline, there will be no special-rate room available.
