Meeting Description:

On Monday 22 May the Institute for Logic, Language, and Computation
will host a workshop on Causation and Modality in Logic and Language.
The workshop will be hybrid. Everyone who is interested in causation
and modality in philosophy, linguistics and/or logic is very welcome
to attend.

The speakers are: Sander Beckers (Amsterdam), Ivano Ciardelli (Padua),
Bridget Copley (Paris), Angelica Hill (Amherst),  Thomas Icard
(Stanford), Mingya Liu (Berlin), Dean McHugh (Amsterdam), and Prerna
Nadathur (Ohio).

The workshop will be followed by the PhD defense of Dean McHugh on
Tuesday 23 May.
