Linguistic Field(s): Discourse Analysis

Meeting Description:

For three years in a row, the Discourse Research Association of
Ireland (DRAOI) has hosted a Summer Seminar Series in the months of
July and August, bringing together discourse researchers from many
different institutions to share their research, collaborate, and make
connections. As the only research network in Ireland focusing on
discourse, DRAOI was specifically created to forge new connections and
build community among discourse scholars who are located in Ireland,
who have ties to Ireland, and/or who are studying Irish discourses. In
keeping with the goals of the network, the series aims to provide a
friendly, welcoming space for discourse researchers of all career
stages to connect with and learn from each other.

As in previous years, the seminars for 2023 will be held virtually and
are open to the public. The seminars are free of charge for all
participants.

Program:

We are pleased to announce the schedule of talks for the Discourse
Research Association of Ireland (DRAOI)'s 2023 Summer Seminar Series.

The seminars approach the study of discourse from a wide variety of
subfields and perspectives and feature talks by a diverse range of
researchers. More information can be found on our website at: https://
