Subject: Early Audio Recording of Chinese

Dear list subscribers,
Does anyone have information about early audio recordings of spoken
Chinese (Mandarin or Chinese topolects) that were produced before
1950? If yes, additional information about the whereabouts (archive,
library) and the kind of recording (didactic, documentary, etc.) would
also be welcome. Responses to henning.kloeter at hu-berlin.de will be
much appreciated.
Henning Klöter
