Subject: Ecolinguistics: Voices from the Global South

"Ecolinguistics: Voices from the Global South" will provide a unique
viewpoint on how language and ecology meet in the Global South. This
book will be a vital resource for anyone interested in the connections
between applied linguistics and the natural environment, from
questions of decolonization and the promotion of Southern
epistemologies to the practical applications of ecolinguistic
research. We are soliciting chapters whose themes may include (but are
not limited to): language policy and planning in the Anthropocene,
applied linguistics and globalization, Southern epistemologies,
ecolinguistic discourse analysis, language and environmental justice,
multilingualism and language maintenance, and the linguistics of
biocultural diversity conservation. We are particularly interested in
promoting Indigenous voices in ecolinguistics.
