The Society of Linguistic Anthropology (SLA) is running a public
webinar on transnational language politics. Featuring Jessica
Chandras, Jaime Pérez González, Martina Volfová and Keisha Wiel, the
panel will share how “mother tongue(s)” and “indigenous language(s)”
appear across their research, advocacy, and revitalization work, and
discuss the politics involved in these large-scale categories.
