Focus: A one-week school focusing on the neurocognitive foundations of
language

Description:
The Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) is
delighted to invite you to take part in the 4th International School
on Psycholinguistics, Neurolinguistics and Clinical Linguistics to be
held live on April 15-19, 2024. The School is directed at graduate and
advanced undergraduate students interested in learning about the
neurocognitive foundations of language, about how to make their
research ideas into concrete steps towards experimental designs, how
to approach data collection and how to analyse data using experimental
and statistical methods. The intensive short programme (40 hours)
offers 2-hour sessions at two levels (introductory and advanced) in
three interrelated disciplines, taught by experts from Spain, France,
Holland, Denmark, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. The following teachers

Students who complete a minimum of 12 sessions are entitled to 3 ECT
credits.

The School is followed on April 20th 2024 by the 11th edition of the
Novi Sad workshop in Psycholinguistic, Neurolinguistic and Clinical
Linguistic Research. Attendees of the School are encouraged to submit
an abstract for a (poster) presentation at the workshop.

Tuition Explanation: Registration Fee: 100 EUR + 20% official tax for
public institutions (excluding bank transfer costs) to be paid by
March 1, 2024 after notification of acceptance (mid-January 2024). The
registration fee includes attendance, materials, coffee/tea and free
access to the 11th Novi Sad workshop in Psycholinguistic,
Neurolinguistic and Clinical Linguistic Research to be held at the
Faculty of Philosophy on April 20th.

Registration Instructions:
To be considered for attendance, fill out the application form before
December 31 2023, setting out your reasons and motivation for wishing
to attend. In case there are more expressions of interest than can be
accommodated, priority will be given to graduate students with a
demonstrated interest in the neurocognitive foundations of language.
Notification of acceptance will be sent in mid-January 2024.
