Description:

SIDE are in need of remote freelance native-speaking formally trained
linguists who are able to do phonemic transcription and other speech
linguistic tasks.

Languages sought:

 - Polish
 - UK English

Successful candidates will be part of teams processing large amounts
of linguistic data and carrying out a number of tasks to improve the
quality of our client’s text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis for Polish /
British English.

Responsibilities include linguistic research and phonemic
transcription.

Linguistics Requirements:

 - University-level coursework in general linguistics, phonetics,
phonology, and experience in phonemic transcription in your native
language (pl-PL / en-GB).
 - BA/BS in Linguistics required.
