conference is to create a space for scientific exchange between
researchers from this group and other researchers with similar
interests.

Call for Papers:

We call for proposals for talks and posters on topics related to
nominal determination, focusing on, but not restricted to, 1) Number
Marking; 2) Partitivity; 3) Differential Object Marking; 4)
Possessives; 5) Agreement; and 6) Syntax and semantics of deictic
categories. Works on both European and non-European languages
(standard and non-standard) are welcome, with a synchronic, a
diachronic, or a contact perspective. Particular interest lies in the
investigation of the spread of linguistic features across geographical
areas and the spatial distribution of speakers.

Submissions are limited to 1 single-authored and 1 co-authored
abstract per participant, or 2 co-authored abstracts per participant.

Abstracts should be written in English and be anonymous, with contact
details in the body of the email (name/affiliation/email address).
They should be no longer than 500 words (excluding references and
examples) and must specify the format of the proposal (talk or poster
presentation). Please send your abstract directly to
synode at spur.uzh.ch by email, both as a PDF and a Word file.
