The international conferences of the Spanish Cognitive Linguistics
Association (SCOLA) aim to serve as a forum for discussion of any
topic within the field of Cognitive Linguistics. We are pleased to
announce that the 13th edition of the SCOLA’s conference will be held
in Granada (Spain), from 25 to 27 September 2024, under the topic “New
challenges in Cognitive Linguistics. Conceptual, methodological and
interdisciplinary steps forward”.

Second Call for Papers:
The 13th International Conference of the Spanish Cognitive Linguistics
Association (AELCO) will be held in Granada (Spain), from 25 to 27
September 2024, under the topic “New challenges in Cognitive
Linguistics. Conceptual, methodological and interdisciplinary steps
forward”.

We are pleased to announce that the deadline for abstract submissions
has been extended to 7 March 2024, and we invite submissions of
abstracts for papers and posters on any topic within the field of
Cognitive Linguistics, including, but not limited to, the following:

Cognitive grammar
Construction grammar
Cognitive linguistics applied to language acquisition and language
teaching/learning
Contrastive cognitive linguistics
Corpus-based cognitive linguistics
Cognitive linguistics and discourse analysis
Cognitive linguistics and multimodal communication
Conceptual metaphor and metonymy
Cognitive pragmatics
Linguistic variation and change
Cognitive linguistics, NLP and Artificial Intelligence
Cognitive translation and interpreting studies (Thematic session)
