Meeting Description:

A one-day colloquium on the history of linguistics to be held in
Central London, UK.  Papers on all topics relevant to the history of
the study, teaching, analysis, description and theorising of language
and languages are welcome.

Postgraduates, early career scholars and other deserving candidates
are encouraged to consider applying for the Martin Burr Travel Bursary
to support the costs of attending the colloquium
(https://www.henrysweet.org/martin-burr-travel-bursary). To be
considered for a travel bursary, please send an email to
a.linn at westminster.ac.uk by the registration deadline of 15 March
2024, providing the following information: Name Email address Title of
your paper Institutional affiliation Position held (e.g. postgraduate
student, lecturer, postdoctoral fellow, etc.) Please provide a
detailed estimate of your anticipated travel costs Please outline
briefly why you would like to be considered for a Martin Burr travel
bursary. Please tell us any other sources of funding available to you.
