Meeting Description:

The XXXVIII International Congress of the Asociación de Jóvenes
Lingüistas will be held in Santiago de Compostela on 16, 17 and 18
October 2024.

The Asociación de Jóvenes Lingüistas (AJL) promotes the exchange of
knowledge in the field of linguistics by organising each year a major
international meeting aimed at non-doctoral researchers
(undergraduate, master's or doctoral students). Thus, the Association
of Young Linguists (AJL) announces that the next edition will be held
at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Santiago de
Compostela, from 16 to 18 October 2024, in a face-to-face format that
will encourage dialogue and collaboration among participants.

Faced with an enormously complex diglossic linguistic reality, the AJL
considers that the linguistic richness of the territory should also be
a driving force and a major reason for the next congress. In this way,
they hope to be able to offer a varied and multilingual programme, in
which any language of the peninsula will be the object of study, but
also a vehicle for science.

Call for Papers:

The deadline for submissions is Friday 15 March 2024 at 23:59 (Spanish
peninsular time).
