Meeting Description:

The Institute of Linguistics, School of English at the University of
Silesia in Katowice is pleased to announce the 35th International
Conference on Foreign and Second Language Acquisition (ICFSLA). As it
has been doing for over thirty years now, this conference will focus
on research in second language acquisition and foreign language
learning, relating to different aspects of both the teaching and
learning of second/foreign languages. This time we have decided to
concentrate, among other topics, on institutions promoting positive
language learning and teaching environments.

PLENARY SPEAKERS

Currently, we are happy to announce that the following scholars will
present the keynote talks at the 35th ICFSLA conference:

Kata Csizér Wein (Eötvös Loránd University)
Melanie Ellis (Silesian University of Technology)
Steve Killick (United Kingdom)
Mirosław Pawlak (Adam Mickiewicz University)
Yolanda Ruiz de Zarobe (University of the Basque Country)

2nd Call for Papers:

The registration process is a two-step procedure. In the first step
you are asked to register using the first link selecting the required
participant category, which involves declaring whether you wish to
participate with or without a paper, and, if you want to present,
submit your abstract of up to 300 words. You will also have a
possibility to specify whether your presentation is intended to take
the form of a regular paper, workshop or poster.

The second step of the registration process takes place after your
abstract has been accepted. At this stage, you will be asked to
provide further information about your accommodation preferences, as
well as payment and invoice details.
