Meeting Description:

We invite colleagues with interest in contrastive pragmatics to join
the 1st Contrastive Pragmatics symposium, run under the aegis of the
journal (www.brill.com/jocp). The event will be held at Hungarian
Research Centre for Linguistics, Budapest, 18-19 July 2024.

We organise the event in order to promote academic exchange and
collaborations between experts working in this field. We keep the
symposium non-profit and free of registration fees. Participants will
only have to pay their own travel plus hotel costs.

Please contact Dr. Puyu Ning (ning.puyu at nytud.hu), if you need more
information.
