Lehre in den anglistischen und linguistischen Studiengängen engagieren,
daß sie entsprechend dem Profil der Bielefelder Anglistik/Linguistik an
der Entwicklung und Anwendung computerbasierter und multimedialer Methoden
für Lehre und Forschung mitarbeiten, sich an der Betreuung des
Phonetiklabors, an internationalen Austauschprogrammen und an der Einwerbung

Title: Research Assistant / PostDoc / Contractual

Functions: In the context of research in the area of automatic speech
recognition, a multi-disciplinary team, including researchers from
Nortel Networks, seeks a person to design software as part of a project
for natural language understanding and natural dialogue systems.  This
researcher will program algorithms to achieve accurate communication
with natural voice dialogues, and participate in the team's efforts to
render telephone dialogue systems more efficient.

Requirements: Have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or
computer science. Graduate study in these or related fields, as well
as a solid mathematical background and a knowledge of the technical
aspects of speech communication, will be viewed favorably. At least one
year's experience in scientific programming in C or C++ in a Unix
environment
is needed. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence techniques and/or
experience
with Lisp or Prolog will be considered strong assets.

Jeune ingénieur débutant ou avec 1 à 2 années d'expérience.
BAC+5, de formation grandes écoles (Télécom, Centrale, Supélec,

Souhaitant s'intégrer à une petite équipe pour participer aux travaux
