Berend vra oor die uitdrukking:

"Da's mij 'n slag an d'hals." {"dat is voor mij 'n klusje van niets."}
  Wat ik graag zul willen weten is waor 't
gezegde vandaon komp, en wat de hals der met vandoen hef??

Ek dink dit het met die slagtingsmetode te doen wanneer die nek slagaar
van 'n slagdier oopgesny word.

In Afrikaans gebruik ons ook die uitdrukking "om iemand die nekslag toe
te dien" {figuurlik: om iemand uit te wis}
Wat beteken: "dat is voor mij 'n klusje van niets."?
