Hey Ar, Jason.

In (Eastern) Aramaic: `Idha Brikha w'Risha d'Shanua Tuva.

"`Idha" kin mean any Holy Day, at is, Babsar/Christmas or Petzcha/Easter
or what-haive-ye. Straight out hit means "Blessit Holy Day an a Guid New
Year." Western Aramaic (first cawd Syriac baa the Greeks) wuid use [o]'s
fer [a]'s at the ends o the words, and shift the emphasis te the laist
syllable. Or tother way round, gin ye was a-comin fum the Western Aramaic
pynt o view.

Ha yins a merry un, which ever!
+Fr Andreas Richard Turner.

Jason

It's (kind of) interesting that the most-spoken language in the world is
represented in your "greetings" list by a single entry (assuming I haven't
missed one). Even Dutch has three. Shouldn't American English be represented
by the multicultural "Happy Holidays"?

Since it's not a Lowlands language I will suppress my curiosity as to what
"Egyptian" is.
