Ik zou graag en beetje Nederlands nu en dan schrijven maar dat zou erg
gevaarlijk voor de leerlingen kunnen zijn.

Mark zei: >in the American dialect of English, they rarely pronounce the
'wh' instead it is a 'w' so that there is no difference between whales and
Wales. Or perhaps, they think they do pronounce it and to my Scots/British
ear the subtlety is lost.<

Op Standaard Engels woordt "wh" als /w/ uitgesproken. Ik ben er zeker op dat
wij niet verzoeken "hw" te zeggen.

Van *mij*?  Negenennegentig komma negen ... grotendeels voor gehoorzaamheid en
dapperheid.  Maar ... dat is waarschijnlijk waardeloos.
