Subject: "Veluws dialect"

Geachte lowlander,

Den Veluwe is een onderdeel van de provincie Gelderland. Ik zelf ben geboren
en getogen in Ermelo, dat op de Noord-West-Veluwe ligt. Over het dialect van
deze streek is bij mijn weten niet zo veel geschreven. Het WNT (Woordenboek
der Nederlandse Taal) noemt onder andere 'Het dialect der Noord-West-Veluwe'
van W. van Schothorst een aantal keren.

Een aantal woorden weet ik mij te herinneren. Een paar voorbeeldenzijn:

    ampart = apart, eigenaardig;
    vree-en = afrasteren;
    stammetjen = klein, stevig mannetje;
    heerd = woonkamer in een boerderij;
    heuen = vee hoeden.

Zijn er onder u, die mijn geheugen met nog andere voorbeelden kunnen
opfrissen?
Wie vult dit rijtje aan?
