Dear Lowlanders,

I need your help in locating books with Low Saxon (Low German) songs,
including both musical notation and lyrics.  I am particularly keen on finding
old songs, from the Hanseatic era (medieval and renaissance), but I am also
interested in songs up to the end of the 19th century.  I would be grateful to
you for sending references to me privately (sassisch at yahoo), and I would later
post a list of all of them here on Lowlands-L.  We do have one relevant book
here in our Music Library:
