Dear Lowlanders,

It looks like this is a special year for England, as their national saint's
day happens to fall on Easter Sunday.

While the English don't seem to bother with St George's day any more than
the Scots seem to bother with St Andrew's, I wonder if any English members
of the list are celebrating this Sunday in a special way on account of the
double festival? It would be interesting to hear if any ancient traditions
were being revived anywhere, or any new ones being invented!

To make it even more special this year, Passover (Pessach) also coincides with
Easter and St. George's Day.  It began last night.  Also, on Tuesday, 25 April
will be ANZAC Day in Australia and New Zealand.
