The Limburgish and Brabantish volumes for birds are not published yet
(I would say "ojjevaar" in my West-Limburgish).

In the volume "Vogels" (birds), 1996, of the dictionary of Flemish
dialects, one finds (I omit the names of places where the variant is
used): for Ooievaar...(Ciconia ciconia) (p. 216-218):

cigogne (on the map at the French side of the border only)
eiber (in the Waasland area)
geluksvogel
kinderdief
lepelaar (lepelaar in Dutch is rather the "Platalea leucorodia")
odevaar (also: hodevaar)
olievaar (in Bruges)
ooi(e)vaar
ooi(e)vaard
pakjesdrager
reiger (for both "reiger" and "ooievaar")

Regards,

Roger
