Subject: Limburgish

While the __Limburgish__ language area is most often defined as the area
between the ik-ich  and the maken-machen isogloss, I found a new map merging
__Kleverländish__ and __Limburgish__ into __"Rheinmaasländish"__ leaving the
ik-ich isogloss (Uerdinger Linie) out of the picture.

The map "Sprachenentwicklung im Rhein-Maasdreieck" is published p. 67 in:

(I must say in my Limburgish from Vliermaal we doe not say "halten" but
"hagen")

West: __Brabantish__:
    B: Tienen, Leuven, Diest, Turnhout
    Nl: Eindhoven, Helmond, Nijmegen, Arnhem
East: __Rheinmaasländisch__:
    B Tongeren, Hasselt, Genk
    Nl: Weert, Deurne, Venray
    G: Kleve

2. The isogloss from North to East: "Rhein-Issel-Linie", Einheitsplural, wi
maket/wi maken

East: __Westfälish__:
    G: Bocholt, Essen, Lüdenscheid
West: __Rheinmaasländisch__:
    G: Kleve, Wesel, Duisburg, Wuupertal

3. The isogloss South to East, "Bernrather Linie", maken/machen

South: __Ripuarisch__ (Mittelfrankish):
    G: Aachen, Jülich, Köln
North: __Rheinmaasländisch__
    Nl: Maastricht
    G: Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Düsseldorf, Wuppertal

4. South-West: Germanisch-romanische Sprachgrenze.

I guess we have a map for everybody's taste.
