Dankie vir die antwoord. Dit was my siening ook.

In uitspraak word die b miskien wel soms na 'n p verander. Ek kan
trouens maar aan een voorbeeld dink: petaal ipv betaal. Niemand skryf
dit egter so nie.

Die woord betoorgrootmoeder (een woord) kom wel in my Kritzinger/Steyn
asook my Kritzinger/Labuschagne voor, en ek kan my voorstel dat die
verbasterde uitdrukking 'petooroupa' meer 'n gesproke as 'n geskrewe
uitdrukking is. Sou ek daarmee korrek wees? Ek is nog steeds nie seker
of die uitdrukking  in algemene gebruik is of beperk is tot die
Oos-Kaap nie.
