A London "Times" diarist, resident in the USA, reports a "Bushism of the
Week". Two weeks ago she reported that George W. said: "The question we
need
to ask: Is our children learning?". Today an Arizonan reader reports that
he
in fact said: "The question we need to ask is: Are children learning?"

The "Times" is not what it was. Perhaps it never was!
