As a complete ignoramus about German geography, I have to ask: Bielefeld -
that's where Andy Eagle lives, isn't it? And didn't I gather, Andy, that it's
a Low Saxon speaking area?

As a complete ignoramus about Plautdietsch, is this a variety of, or does this
have a lot in common with, Low Saxon? Are there interesting developments from
contacts between immigrant Plautdietsch and Low Saxon as still spoken in the
area?
