My response to "Min Modersprak" with a Plautdietsch version
was at a moment when I was unable to find the complete translation.
Since then, in response to Ron's request for the omitted portion, I
have recovered it and present the complete Plautdietsch version of
the poem by Klaus Groth.

 Du biggst mien stiewet Jnekj soo leicht
Aus Mutta met'em Oarm,
Du strichelst mi om't Aunjesecht,
Un stell es aul mien Loarm.

 Ekj feehl mi aus een kjleenet Kjind,
De gaunze Welt es waig.
Du weihst mi aus een Varjoahschwind
Mien kranka Oaja traicht.

 Un Oopa foldt mi noch de Hänj
Un saigt to mi: "Nu bäd!"
Un "Voda Onsa," fang ekj aun,

Soo es mien Hoat to Moot,
Un Ruh Vom Himmel weiht mi aun,
