Dear List,
     The following query came from a lady on another list, and she asks
if our Scots contingent might be of some help. I confess to having
volunteered the lot of you.
     "I am looking for the meaning of the word 'quathside' (or perhaps
even just
"quath").  "Quathside" was the name of a house/farm in Scotland and I
would
like to know if it has any particular meaning. Can anyone help?
