Geachte Laaglanders
Dear Lowlanders

I need a helping hand and some advice. I'm looking for
several books and dictionaries which I can't seem to
find on my own:
1. books on Old Saxon (grammars, dictionaries, ...),
preferably in English, though I think/hope I can
manage one in German too.
2. an Old Frisian dictionary, an etymological Frisian
dictionary, and yep, a Modern Frisian dictionary too.
3. some advice on books about Saxons and Frisians (I'm
particularly interested in the period till +/- 1000
AD)
4. some advice on a good (High) German and English
etymological dictionary.

I can think of two criteria: the publications should
be still available on the book market, and the price
should be, erm, nice.

Any help and advice will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Frank
