Subject: Frisian "heit"

I am learning West Frisian right now. When I was using the travlang.com
English-Frisian translator, I encountered the word "heit"
(pronounced like our word "hate"), meaning "father." I thought this was
fairly odd, since all the other Germanic languages' words for "father"
aren't exactly, but along the lines of, "fater" or "fader."
