I haven't got much time by now but I'll reply to Your posting once more
later. What You tell us is very interesting for me and it may be that
You
can answer some of my questions.
Now only these few words about fandóegh (vandaag): There are many
speakers
in East Frisia as well who pronounce it ferdóegh (the "er" is one
sound).
The ~gh is a fricative of "g" and sounds somewhat similar to ~ch. That's
the reason for the ~aw-ending You hear from Your speakers. A
pronounciation
like that for ~ch or ~gh isn't known anywhere in East Frisia. It must
depend on English influence.
