Moin, moin leve Leeglänners,

I agree that existing terminology concerning "Shetlandic" ought to be
retained unless explained when used otherwise. I find "Shetland Norn"
and
"Shetland Scots", "Orkney Norn" and "Orkney Scots" etc. quite
sufficient.

By the way, has anyone in the Isles ever tried to reconstruct
Shetland
Norn with help of Jakobsen`s dictionary?
Since I am very much into the revival of Cornish, reconstructed
historical languages are of great interest to me, and I have not heard
of
anything of the likes happening on Orney and Shetland I`d be interested
to
hear whether anyone knows of such attempts.
