Dear Harlan Ross May,

I`m no fan of bending-over-backwards-political-correctness either, but
calling the developing world "uncivilized" was OK in the 19th century,
but we are in the 21st today - and your statement is not
politically-incorrect, it is an insult to the many culturs and
civilisations in the developing world, and a downright provocation.
Furthermore I do not understand what you mean by it. You don`t have to
call it "developing world", but "uncivilized world" is wrong, and I will
continue to correct expressions of this sort, without verbal hygene.

Yours respectfully (still),

Dan
