Dear All,

I have just been (attepting!) to read a Norwegian text, and found that
what I call (in English) 'reinforced concrete', they, like the Dutch
call 'armoured concrete'.

My question is: in the language variants you know, is there a term for
'reinforced/armoured concrete' and does the term refer to strengthening
(as the English does) or to protecting (as the Dutch and Norwegian do).

With best wishes,

Pat
