I wrote about Russian _brjuki_ 'trousers':

And then there is, of course, the third possibility of _brjuki_ going
all the way back to notable but until recently understated Swedish,
i.e., Eastern Viking, "Russ" (cf. Finnish _ruotsalainen_ 'Swedish'),
presence and influences in parts of Russia.
