Hello, Mr. Hoekstra !

In our Eastern Friesland Low Saxon we also know these constructions.
The word here is "nöödergh" or "nöödigh" (I suspect the ~igh-forms
to be
adaptations to German language patterns). It is used in the
combination "nöödergh we:sen" which means "to need", "to require".
Examples: "Ik bün dat näit nöödergh" = I don't need that. "Häi was
dat rêw
läip nöödergh" = he needed the tools very much.
