Haai all!

The teaching of different applications of the Du- and Sie forms in
German was pretty much the same
down the southern tip of Africa in my days. I saw a slackening when I
met younger German people in
the late 80's and 90's but found it weird that young Austrians would
still not address me as du.

I've yet to learn addressing God in the du-form :-]
