Moin everybody!

Is bye bye the same as bye and bye (as in the sweet bye and bye)? Are
the two even related? Surely the first one is just a nice sounding
repetition of the derivation of God be with you, whilst the second
refers to the time when you'll actually be with God (said with due
respect to all Gods).

And thanks to you all for answering my question.

Rein ut Neeschierigkeit: Vun wor kümmst Du denn weg? Mi dücht, dat ji
