you asked

speak Platt very
well - our community in East Central Illinois kept it
up unlike other
communities I'm finding out.'

I got the book whilst on a cycling holiday last year
in East Friesland. The book as said is regarding the
phonology of a specific area in East Friesland. It
doesn't include a general grammar - so no morphology
and syntax etc. On the Lowlands list there are lots of
books mentioned with more general descriptions of Low
Saxon (Platt).

If you're still interested in the book though here are
the details:

Title: Plattdeutsch in Ostfriesland; die Mundart von
Moormerland-Warsingsfehn.
Author: A. Remmers
Publisher: J. Sollermann, Leer 1997
ISBN (although I think this differs depending on which
country you're in) 3-928612-33-6

At the time it cost me 14.32?. Have fun trying to find
it.
