Pegasus doesn't, unfortunately. Reading LL-L, I frequently have to
display a message in my browser, which can cope with UTF-8 (but
messes up the CR/LF's). This can be a pain in the proverbial at
times. (It's the price to pay for not wanting to use Outlook.)

I'm using an old Eudora myself, but I expect newer versions of
Eudora ( http://www.eudora.com/ ), "The Bat!" (
http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/ ), and Pegasus do support UTF8?

Good luck. Here's the reply I received from Eudora to my inquiry, with my
response following:

To: Judi M <jmreply at qualcomm.com>
Subject: Re: Eudora 5.x for Windows 98; Tech Support Question

"Eudora only support ISO8859-1 Latin. We do have one uuencode but it is for
attachments and I do not know if this will help you. As for foreign
languages we do not support them - only English. Sorry for the
inconvenience." Judi

"Thanks for your reply. I hope you have your resumé updated."

I'm also reluctant to switch to Microsoft products for the same reasons (I
have a huge amount of business data on my machine, and losing it would be a
real calamity) and am investigating another program called Sylpheen that may
work, if I can ever get it configured. I'll keep you posted, if you'll do
the same.
