Forordinar I dinna bather nae mair sayin whit Scots shoud an shoudna be, wi
the slaggin I've gotten for bein a purist an prescriptionist an whit no; but
strictly speakin it shoud be 'Skelpit at the schuil', cause:

a) Verbs endin in -p forordinar taks the syllabic 'it' endin in braid Scots.

b) The Scots word is 'schuil' wi the UI soond, pronunced 'i' ('skill') in
Central dialects, 'ee' ('skweel') i the North East, an like French 'eu' or
'u' in mair conservative dialects like Angus an Shetlandic.
