I must concur with the writers which have said that Meneer Harlan Ross May
his statements about 'uncivilised' vereses 'politicael correctnes' are an
insult and offensief to many.

  I fail to see wat Meneer Ross May mean bie that.  Sir, are you trying to
insult others?  Wat makes you to say that other culturen are 'uncivilised'?
I fanything would I say, it is Amerikaens / Ingels imperiaelisme that is
uncivilised.

    Ik zey 'Nei, aen Amerikaens imperialiaelisme!  Nei, aen Pepsi-cola
culturael imperiaelisme!  Nei, aen Ameirkaens McDonalds z'n culturel
imperiaelisme!  Nei, aen Coca-Cola culture.  Nei, aen Amerikaens culturel
imperiaelimse!'

As mentioned earlier, the person at whom above response is addressed is no
longer a member of Lowlands-L.

Furthermore, as will be announced again in a later administrative message,
our rules and guidelines (http://www.lowlands-l.net/rules.htm, to which a
German version will be added shortly) have been amended to clarify that
certain types of behavior are not permitted:

Under "Etiquette":

"Specific policies and political events that have direct relevance to
language and culture may be discussed. Without this direct relevance,
political issues and opinions are outside the discussion scope."
"Specifiek beleid en politieke gebeurtenissen kunnen hier bediscussieerd
worden, mits ze direct te maken hebben met taal en/of cultuur. Als dit niet

Let's all be familiar with the rules, let's be at the very least civil with
each other as individuals (not as representatives of the countries in which
we happen to be born or live), and let's not give troublemakers the
satisfaction of falling prey to their little schemes!
