Thanks, John,

for Your sorrounding explanations!

It's not tiring at all by its volume, and very interesting to hear a
different, also convincing meaning about our "Urian".

I think (as so often in linguistic matters, specially old ones) we won't
find the "main key".

But- still I have to think about that "DUDEN"-interpretation as (UG):
"unwillkommener Gast", (E): "unwelcomed guest". May be, I didn't understand
all of Your words, but  I missed explanations near to this.

I don't like all those dictionaries concerning minority languages, but
DUDEN, OXFORD and other "official" lexica I do respect. There is much money
to get with them, and so they become continiously developed and improved.
